ANGOLA 2026 — Projeto Raízes
The Raízes Project is a deeply personal and cultural journey for Fábio Gomes. He wants to gain a deeper understanding of Angola’s provinces. Driven by curiosity and a desire to reconnect with his own roots, Fábio and his team travel from province to province, exploring the richness of Angolan culture, Angolan cuisine, and Angolan traditions.
I was invited to join him on this adventure in 2025 and now again in 2026, as a videographer and photographer. Together, we document every step Fábio Gomes takes, every encounter he has, to share the soul of Angola with the world.
The Raízes Project does not belong only to Fábio Gomes — it belongs to all Angolans.
